Bantayan Island, Cebu

29 Apr

When your in Cebu, you should visit the Bantayan Island if you want a peaceful time in the beach.

How to go Bantayan Island?

From the Mactan International Airport, you can get a cab to go the the Northern Bus Terminal (Php 150.00)

From the Northern Bus Terminal, you can catch a bus going to Hagnaya port. There are several non-aircon bus that travels to Hagnaya port but if you are lucky enough, you can catch the limited aircon bus going there. (We were lucky we got on the aircon bus going to and from the Hagnaya Port) Php 150.00/pax

From the Hagnaya Port, you ride a RORO (roll on-roll off) going to Sta Fe Port. Php 180/pax

You can also rent a van going to the Hagnaya port ranging from Php 1000-Php 1500 if you don’t want to travel by bus for almost 3hours but I’d recommend this for groups since it will be quite expensive when you are just by yourself or with your significant other.

Arriving at Sta Fe Port, there are tricycles there that can take you to your hotel/resort if you don’t have any arrangements from them.

This is where we stayed when we arrive at Bantayan Island. Sta. Fe Beach Club.

We decided to stay at their non-aircon room which only costs Php 900.00 per night. And it's beach front, compared to those Php1k+ room which is not beach front. Or if you want to stay near the beach with aircon room, it will cost you Php 3000.00

Bathroom is clean so it's I'm ok with this room.

Beach seats you can enjoy when you go out of the room.

Their lovely shore line.

We went to the other resort that Sta Fe Beach Club owns.

Their pathways to their rooms.

Though they don't have a shore line, they still have a nice view of the sea.

Inside the Parish Church

Bantayan Island's Municipal Center

After returning from the Municipal, we had a hearty lunch from the Coucou Bar. Our total bill Php 460.00

Grilled Pork Belly Liempo

Frozen Iced Tea

We’ve had a relaxing week in Bantayan Island, I think there are still lots of places to go in Bantayan Island, so I’m definitely coming back.

This is a comment to the webmaster. I came to your “Bantayan Island, Cebu My Travelled Places” page via Google but it was difficult to find as you were not on the front page of search results. I see you could have more traffic because there are not many comments on your website yet. I have found a website which offers to dramatically increase your rankings and traffic to your website: http://www.linklegends.com/free-trial. I managed to get close to 1000 visitors/day using their services, you could also get lot more targeted traffic from search engines than you have now. Their free trial and brought significantly more traffic to my website. Hope this helps 🙂 Take care.
